Marriage contract of Sayyidah Baygum, the daughter of the late Qadam‘ali Ibn Haj Aqa Hufi, and Latif ‘Ali, the son of the late Muhammad ‘Ali Ibn Haj Muhammad Varnusfadirani. The mahr includes twenty-six tumans and two thousand and five hundred dinars that remain the groom's debt; forty tumans for Sayyidah Baygum to purchase of women's clothing, jewelry, fabric, copperware, and carpets; and thirty tumans to Sayyidah Baygum to purchase a house in the neighborhood of her choice. Mirza ‘Ali Khan Furqani, the former Nayyir al-Mamalik of Isfahan, exchanged four-sixths of his house of residence near the Jami‘ mosque of Isfahan with his two sons, ‘Ali Asghar and ‘Ali Akbar, and the baby (girl or boy) who is still in her/his mother's womb, for one hundred dinars and ten misqals [unit of weight] of crystal candy.
